We are a husband and wife team married just under one year. We have always been the adventurous type; opting to spend our free time out in the Southern Arizona deserts and forests rather than a crowded bar or movie theater. With this natural love for adventure we married in Scotland and honeymooned in France. Of course, like all good things, this trip left us wanting more, but between countless hobbies, projects, work, and school; another trip of this caliber seemed too far out of reach. This lead us in search of new and exciting places closer to home.
Up until recently our various trips and adventures consisted only of shooting and hiking around our hometown of Tucson, AZ. It was on our last trip out that we decided we wanted more out of our weekend outings and decided to go in search of the ruinous ghost towns and mines of the forgotten Southwest.
To accompany our exploits we wanted to start this blog, not so much to chronicle our various ventures, but to inspire a sense of adventure in others.
